We’re Here and God is Faithful

Forgive me for taking so long to post. We arrived safely in Santo Domingo yesterday at 1:30. Unfortunately, 4 of our bags didn’t make it. Enya and Reed both made it through the first night without their luggage, and our team is making good progress this morning without 2 of our supply bags. Lord willing, the remaining luggage should be delivered to the village today at noon. Please pray to that end. Chris Andino was God’s perfect provision for our team... as he helped us navigate that difficult situation with the employees at the airport.

We are studying the book of 1 John in our team devotions. We are already halfway through chapter 2, and the Lord is richly blessing that time in the word together. I was blessed by our time of prayer and the rich discussion during the first team devotional.

I’m also grateful for the sweet spirit of unity which is evident. God is blessing our relationships with one another and with the Dominicans, Additionally, Word is spreading that a Hatian Doctor is on our team and will be serving in the clinic. We are asking the Lord to bring many to Sanul and the clinic, and for the Lord to bless his work.

Thank you for praying! The trip is off to a wonderful start, and my excitement for what the Lord will do over the course of this week is building!

Yours in Christ,
Jeremy

  2. I remember flying into santo domingo and seeing more ball fields than I have ever seen
before. Em's kids will miss seeing you on Sunday. We'll be praying for you.
