I've dashed through several goat gates passed the bright azul shed from your students and leaders to write to you, our prayer warriors. 

Each morning our team has the opportunity to continue the 2016 Ultimate Retreat's theme of "examining the Scriptures [each morning] to see if these things were so (Acts 17:11)"  during devotionals.

Last night Nate and I sat next to my permethrin infused bug net as we prepared for this morning's devotion. After reading over 1 John 3:1-10 we dived into the reality that God has called each of us His child. While our conversation spurred on about adoption, Dominican and American boys learned about each other's particularities on the concrete floor between bunk beds.  It was amazing to hear high school students talk about how God has work in their lives.

Leaving our homes, our comforts and our loved ones catalyzes an opportunity where we can re-calibrate ourselves through conversations like these.

I have the privileged  to walk alongside your students as they intentionally practice resurrection. Thank you for sending your student.
