Picture Post #2

Our siding team did a great job!
Here is the completed work! (pre-paint)

Chris is really helping our students to learn important skills.

Nate has been on every carpentry job... every day.

Lukas has been one of our hardest workers this year.  He is really a wonderful servant leader for our team.

Ethan has emerged as our most detailed artist (along with Ian).  This crossed turned out beautifully.

Beejay has been alternating between work in the computer lab at the school and leading our painting efforts.  This kids love his humor.  The LORD is certainly using him to build up our team.

Elijah is seen here concluding some final touches on the courtyard classrooms.

Ben was feeling a bit overwhelmed by all of the Verde Fresca he's seen lately.

This is literally a picture of Hailey attacking her mother.

David needed a hair band to keep his long, flowing hair out of his eyes.

Anna has a soft spot in her heart for these little village children.  The quality of the work drops off a little bit when these little helpers join in... but it's nice to have them joining in work effort.

Just before lunch, our girls took a break to relax and escape the heat.

Jeremiah and Elijah had the awesome idea of bringing some baseball gloves.  Not surprisingly, they've found some other lovers of America's Favorite Pastime. :-)

Jeremiah and Tim have been working together on most projects.  Here they are painting the exterior of the school's administration building.

Doug--our fearless leader--sacrificially volunteered to paint the very highest parts of the wood siding!

I'm always so thankful for the way our kids include the children from the village.

Dawn and McKenna have been working closely today on one of our painting projects.  Dawn was not very pleased that I made her take this picture.

I can't say enough about how Christina blesses our team each year.  We'd be lost without her.
Joseph, Melissa, and Will are working hard. Nate, was not distracting them.

Hailey has such an awesome attitude... even though her leg is constrained by her brace.

The painting never stops.

Ethan is probably the only person I know capable of pulling Birkenstocks off while doing manual labor.

I'm thankful to the LORD for how hard these guys are working.

Having David here is such a gift from the LORD.
David, Chris, and Lukas are making major progress on the bookshelves in Argenis' office.  It's going to look amazing when they are done.
