Final Preparations

It's hard to believe, but this time next week our team will be in the Dominican Republic.  Thankfully, reality is setting in as we make final preparations for the trip. 

The books are ready to go! And we are too!

Currently, Pam Hallman is working hard to organize all of the VBS supplies we will be taking down with us.  The VBS will go on for three days and we will do our best to tell the story of the Bible in that short time.  At the end of the week, we're hopeful that the students will understand their sinful nature and the incredible joy of salvation Christians experience in and through the Lord Jesus Christ. 

Additionally, we are excited to bring a number of important and helpful theological books down with us to the Dominican Republic for a second year in a row.  Our Dominican brothers (all newly ordained elders in the church) were so excited to finally have a theological library that would help them in sermon and ministry preparation.  We are so thankful to continue building that library, because we truly believe that we are making an impact for the Kingdom that will be a blessing for generations to come.  

Please pray for us in this final week of preparation.  Many of our team leaders or experiencing hectic work weeks while our students are doing their best to finish the school year well.  Please pray that we finish all of our school and work commitments well and that we enter into this missions trip with excitement and joy that reflect the miracle of the Gospel.
