A Brief Word of Thanks

Adam and Tiffany have done such a lovely job with the blog posts, that I've not felt the need to involve myself.  But I do want to take this opportunity to thank everyone at home for the incredible prayer support we feel down here in Juan Tomas.  The relationships on the team are incredibly strong, and the Lord continues to bless our friendships with the brothers and sisters in the church.

We've never enjoyed this level of team unity at the mid-point of a trip before.  But the Lord has blessed our time in His Word each morning, and there is a sweet spirit of service on the team that has been encouraging to everyone.  Please continue to pray!  And please join with us in thanking God for the wonderful work He is doing here in Juan Tomas!

Tomorrow is a big day for a number of reasons.  Doug, our fearless leader and construction czar will be returning home to his bride in Virginia to celebrate their 40th anniversary.  Because of that, Friday and Saturday we will be stepping into new territory on our own.  Please pray that God will bless the work of our hands in these last two days of construction.

Finally, I want the parents of our students to know how proud we are of this group.  Without exception, the students are loving and serving sacrificially... and it's been an encouraging experience for me to serve as their leader.

We love you all more than we can say, and we miss you all very much!
