Good morning!
Good morning! It is a warm, humid, and slightly overcast start to the day here in Juan Thomas.
After a breakfast of cereal (paired with fresh goat milk produced right here on the farm!), mangoes from local trees, and extra strong Dominican coffee, our team studied 1 John 2:1-14. Among other things, we were challenged to see our faith through the lens offered by John: That knowing God leads to keeping His commandments and loving our brothers. After exploring this passage, we spoke about some ways we could put these things into practice today, and throughout the rest of our trip.
Our team's focus today is to work on various projects around the school. We will do our best to update the blog as soon as possible. Thanks again for your prayers!
